Ok, wow, I'm shopping for new 65 inch Samsung TV's.

I see this one for $500 (damn, why so cheap??)

And then there is this one for $1,300.

Anybody knowledgeable about modern TVs that can tell me quick and easy the reason for the big price difference?

The kids will play online games on the TV, we'll watch a bit of television, and other than that I don't think we are massive advanced television users. Does anybody have any suggestion for what "minimum features" we want in a TV? Normally I'd just buy the cheapest one, but it seems like there is probably something going on in TV tech to create such a big price differential.

Thanks for any shopping tips!
