I’m sure it is meaningless.
But my wife and I have been on zinc+Quercetin since the start of this thing. Our grandkids just got out of their preschool about ten days ago. Both have had cold symptoms since then. Wife keeps the kids daily, and they continued to be sick, but minimally. We had them come over during the weekend and stay with us for about 24 hours. One develops higher fever and cough, runny nose, etc., I took care of her off and on through the night. I thought whoa, this could be trouble.
Next morning she is fine, goes home to mom and dad, and they both get sick within hours.
I start raising hell telling them they have to get tested. SIL was tested and was shortly told his test was negative. Daughter goes to doctor tomorrow.
Wife and I have no symptoms but if I think about long and hard enough it I’m sure I’ll find some, somewhere.
I don’t know if Quercetin+Zn helps, but as long as I’m not sick I might think it helps in some way. The last five years or so I’ve had more of a tendency to catch colds than I had the previous 20. My doc said that happens sometimes as we age.
I take quite a few supplements.
Zinc Quercetin Magnesium (Recommended by my doctor) Curcumen (Also dr. Rec., Best thing I've found for arthritis/inflammation in joints, but brand matters). Vit B, C, D, Lots of fiber.
I think I’ll keep taking the Zinc and Quercetin for a while, at least till Corona is gone and I decide whether it actually might help prevent colds etc. |
