Even if they did mail out actual ballots and not applications, the ballots still have to be signed and the signature match what is on file.

I must have wasted a hundred posts trying to communicate that point back when the issue was busloads of illegal immigrants showing up at polling places. It's hopeless.

They could drop ballots from an airplane and people could pick up a hundred of them. It doesn't matter. Because it's not a vote until it's signed and mailed in and registered by some clerk who ticks off the voter's name on the list of registered voters. Probably the same clerk who sits at a table an the polling place and ticks off the voter's name when he presents himself in person.

It's hard to understand how anybody can't grasp that a registered voter is matched with a ballot, which constitutes a vote, and anything else is extraneous.

Hopefully the other 99 ballots collected from the airplane drop, unused because they are unusable, get recycled...
