Thanks, TJ. That is a very useful post for me. Looking back at my post, I meant Lebanon rather than Syria as having serious inflation. One would have to think that the Lebanese (and many others outside the major economies) keep any serious money in hard assets (gold, jewelry, real estate), USDs, Euros or in foreign accounts. Including stocks and bonds.
Does your Teowawki vision entail hyper inflation or serious deflation?
