Read my lips NO MORE NEW TAXES

Bush was forced in to raising taxes by a Democratic congress. Would you have preferred that he refuse to negotiate with Congress and shut down the government like Clinton (yes CLINTON!) did?

IRAN-CONTRA,
Iran-Contra resulted in exactly ONE indictment, which was later overturned. Whitewater has resulted in something like 22 and several convictions.

Trickle down policy, Hey george what's the deficit at this afternoon? Well sir, i really don't know if a word exists for such an amount, but if this can help there's a few numbers followed by E-L-E-V-E-N Z-E-R-O-S.

The current expansion was started in the Bush administration. It would have continued no matter who was elected President as long as nothing outrageous was done to reverse it. Greenspan should get more credit for the economy than Clinton. And don't forget Congress' roll. Funny how you give Bush all the blame for raising taxes, but you give Clinton all the credit for the budget surplus.

And speaking of surplus, why oh why can't Clinton use it to reduce taxes or reduce the deficit instead of more spending? Yeah, he says he's using it to shore up the SSA, but did you add up all the billions of new programs he's proposing? Where are those dollars coming from? (Answer: you and me, unless you happen to be one of the many leaches.)
