Glenn, you mean you don't believe???? :o) HEX, I suspect someone misled Pete. A T3 speed to the end user is a bit "unusual". Put a 1000 end users on that system and the ISP would need a backbone feed of something like a OC 148. I do not know my OC numbers I admit. If they had that, the US backbone is in real trouble, etc. There are 350 subscribers on our cable system and a T3 bacbone to the ISP was installed. That is inadequate so often my throughput is only 1 mbps and slower if the server is slow. Glenn
