IBD reported in today's edition that the short interest in MTIC is 32,970 shares; up from 4,859 on Dec. 15th. The current position represents approximately 20% of an average day's trade. Darn, I was hoping to squeeze the you know what out of some people. I love catching gamblers in a short squeeze. I guess we can draw one of two basic conclusions on these numbers:

1) This stock is still undiscovered. For a stock to have the rise that it has had over the past year and to only have that kind of a short position is unusual. Usually shorts love to pile on "momentum" stocks with a chart like MTIC's.

2) Shorts pickers don't deem the stock to be overvalued.

Just some thoughts.
