Not sure if you are using that as an argument against me or just posting opinion. In any event I am not sure why economists continue to woefully underestimate the pent up demand and supply just waiting to fly off the starting gate. My best friend works for car max in retirement and when they called him back recently they were selling cars at a record pace. People are buying homes like crazy. I summer at Cape May and the town is teeming. The idea that post pandemic Flying is going to take 3 years to return is ludicrous IMO. I don’t doubt we are in a dangerous time and come the fall we could be back in a mess. However I read many so called experts saying at the beginning that vaccines take multiple years to get the go ahead and now they are talking phase 3 trial efficacy ready for emergency use before the year is out. I lost so much money being out for several months from March thru June because I was scared stiff by the experts. I realized that so much of what they said did not come to fruition. I Woke up 3 in the morning in late July and the light bulb in my head went on. I realized that the only thing holding back our economy from coming back in a big way is a vaccine. I am counting on that being widely available by q1 202. The economic stimulus is staggering and there actually is more money in the economy now during the pandemic and a lot is going to savings. This is rocket fuel when the all clear comes. I can see a lot of people flying by mid year 2021. I know I’ll be doubling up my yearly flights or even triple. At my age the year I missed is like 7 in dog years. I got some making up to do.
