Malinois makes me think of Akita and thus the probably only two breeds I will stay away from as far as I can but for different reasons.

Akitas are completely unpredictable no matter how you train them.. Fighting is part of their DNA. Many training places no longer allow Akitas.

Malinois are predictable but not in a good way. I encountered both breeds in many years of Schutzhund training.

Malinois require a VERY different type of owner / handler. Most of the owners I have met are a perfect match to the dogs’ personality. Aggressive and largely socially disconnected. They like the idea of potentially using their dogs as a weapon and have no problem driving their dogs the their very limit.
