Akitas all frig-gin muscle and considerably bigger than my Blues.. My Blues were on the large side..

I knew someone with a pair of Akitas .. walked them in the Rouge .. same as I did.. like my pair of Blues.. I agree... My Heelers also required a lot of dedication.. super energy.. aggressive herders, and VERY strong prey instinct for smaller animals.. although we had two adult cats when we got our first Heeler Tika.. The cats were fine.. Kailey Tika's sister and a rescue and Tika both treated the cats as family.. Meals were a bit of an issue as both cats and dogs guarded theirs :) but they learned... dogs became protective of the cats ..

The Akitas were downright scary.. The Heelers don't back down.. so I just avoided the Akitas..
