It occurs to me that below a certain level of prevalence, it makes no sense to do any testing. Like, in NY right now the rate of CoViD test positivity is 1%. Depending on the sensitivity and specificity of the test, most (if not all) of those positives may well be false positives. Just keep upsetting people for no reason. Oh yeah, it also helps keep restrictions going, until November.

Curious how some things keep disappearing. The Brits were going to sell on Amazon home antibody tests for a few bucks a pop. No idea if it ever happened. Some Israeli company reported in January or February that they had a vaccine practically ready for clinical trials. Not a sound since then. Or, Roach announced they’ll be making millions of antibody tests which were 100% sensitive and 99.7% specific. Where are they? I’d like to buy a dozen.
