LOL.. about 20 years ago when my daughter was in Montessori school we were invited by one of the families to a lunch at their house.. one kid came screaming out into the adult group.. witches and demons.. the family hosting allowed their kids to have a snow white and the 7 dwarfs video.. Anyway re holes in socks.. sitting around with "all the men ' that was weird enough .. men in one room.. women in the other.. except for my then wife.. it initially went right over our heads LOL.. I noticed that every single man had at least one hole in their socks.. in the toe area.. We joked afterward.. it must be a cult thing LOL wrt to lucky in my Catholic school.. I think so.. so it skews my thoughts on same.. and yes HS was Jesuits.. but being on a university campus from 12-15 .. from 68-72 may have been (No it surely was LOL) a mitigating factor :)
