A salient point..

I said many times starting over decade ago.. China will by necessity democratize more.. They will never be a democracy like the US or Canada IMO (we suffer the lack of planning also) .. and yet the people will be quite happy, secure and able to benefit from capitalism..

I was wrong on India.. but in retrospect.. for them it was too much democracy too fast.. but they will also get there..

We and you suffer from too much electioneering .. (it's just politics LOL) .. Chinese system is not optimal by any stretch.. they will change.. but somewhere between it and us is a great deal for the people.. where we in NA go is up in the air..

it is not a light switch.. it is a process..
