the democrats who voted against civil rights were the remnants of the southern conservatives.....While there have always been those who enter this country and then disrespect it they are always in a small minority......every group had their dark and criminal side......but as they gained education and power this diminished. But the majority in every group of immigrants including todays work hard every day to better the future for their family.
