Ha, if you read all my posts how did you manage to not realize something as fundamental as the difference between going to a casino to gamble and going to a casino to play a game of skill, poker.

I am a poker player.I earned a good deal of my college money playing low ball in the San Jose area in the 60's. I have played poker all my life. And I have studied the game and read many books on it. I know hand values by memory and can calculate pot odds and probabilities. AA, KK,QQ,JJ, AKs, 1010, AQs, AJs, KQs, AK.

Those are the top ten starting hands in order. I only play premium hands.

I never play any game in a casino except poker. You will never find me playing any of the field games or the slots. You will never see me at a crap game. All of those games are unbeatable.

You do not seem to understand that the ONE game that a professional can beat in a casino is "poker' as it is a game of skill. Poker is no different than chess. A good poker player will beat the game almost every time. A poor player has no chance to win.

That is the one game where you do not play against the house. The casino provides the place, the table, the players and the dealer, but you do not gamble against them, you play against other players and pay TIME.

No brag, just fact: five years ago I spent a month playing the $20/$40 game at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I am pretty sure I was the top winner that month. I started the game every morning with a fellow named Allen who has played there for five years. Limit poker is my game and I play it at a world class level. At the Bellagio we paid about $20 an hour as I recall? So for 9 players, the house makes about $180 an hour.

I won about $10,000 dollars that month and had almost no losing days.

PS, but that is not what counts. Income inequality is about a society not helping the people get a fair shake. The rich use their money, in general, to get an unfair advantage e.g. buying legislators and using lobbyists to get legislation that benefit them e.g. making laws that allow personal income to be taxed as capital gains and keeping taxes low, or getting rid of regulations. And getting rid of unions which the Republicans have been doing for 50 years.

The health of a society must take precedent, so it is important to have things like free public education and welfare systems that help a person when they are down.

Income inequality is a cancer on society. The best societies like the Nordic countries have a vibrant middle class and few rich and few poor. And high taxes.

You Republicans never seem to understand the health and welfare of a society depends on the health and welfare of the individuals!!

<,

Comment on inequaltity: I've read enough of your posts over the years to know you like to take your money to the nearest casino. I've never been in one in my life. I started making and saving money when I was in junior high and have done it all my life and now I'm one of those millionaires. How in the world could people like you and me possibly not be unequal?
