Wharfie, there are many reasons to doubt Russia's "FIRST!" claim.

First of all, Russia has only performed Phase I and II trials. They're completely skipping Phase III, where they would be testing the vaccine on tens of thousands of patients in a very controlled, statistically significant way.

Second, Russia has refused to publicize the results of their Phase I and II trials. The only reason why Russia wants to do that is because they want to be "FIRST!" more than they want to do things the right way. And the right way is to have the results of their trials open to the public so that they can be peer-reviewed.

Third, Russia has a history of lying and cheating when it comes to testing their own people. Remember the doping scandal which caused Russia to be kicked out of the Olympics? They have tons of experience with falsifying data.

And finally, you can bet that Vladdie Putin is trying to benefit politically from rushing the vaccine to the public. You and the left have spent what, the past FOUR YEARS telling us that Putin is not to be trusted?

Now you take Vladdie at his word. Yeah, right, I bet you wouldn't even touch his vaccine with a ten-foot pole.
