Hmm...this actually might be a better question for the Computer Learning thread, since it sounds like a networking issue.

This thread has far fewer eyeballs on it than Computer Learning does.

One question though, have you tried NOT using the ThinQ app and simply casting to the LG TV with the AirPlay icon from any app with video?

The icon looks like this (or similar) on the iPhone/iPad:


It usually appears on the screen of any video you're playing on the iOS device, in the upper or lower right hand side.

On the Netflix app, the icon looks like this:



If you do not see these icons, it means the app doesn't allow casting using AirPlay, though there are sometimes workarounds.
