I knew most of it.

But what you are not doing is looking at the big picture in the context of history.

As i mentioned, you just parsing stuff independent of the larger context.

The right wing does that constantly in their arguing i.e. they just find an anecdote and then throw it at the wall and say see? They do not form a logical picture and conclusion.

One has to look at these events in terms of what was happening at that time in history in total.

FDR did lots of terrible things like Japanese internments and segregating the military.

But at that time in history the entire south was segregated.

And I can guarantee you the Republicans were not protesting that stuff.

They were always doing worse, whatever the dirty deed-lol.

Look at the Big picture in Historical context.
