Generally speaking, ISDN has nothing to do with 56K. ISDN is a standard long available in Europe which is so slow to be developed in the USA. Much more a factor of 'chargabilty' than availability. The network is digital now, you can just charge more if you can tack enough acronyms to it. JMHO, of course. Anything I do on my PBX, can be done on a public PBX if you knew about it (or the proper codes).
