Investing in airline stocks for me is tied to a simple metric. You have a group of stocks selling at half price. These stocks were thriving pre- pandemic and are down solely on that.

If you believe we are going to conquer the pandemic there is no reason that things will not go back to where they were and stocks will go back to their former levels if not higher.

Anybody who flies often can attest to a story where things went awry. This is not something new and during a pandemic I would expect those experiences to be even more prevalent.

The airlines will not be allowed to go bankrupt. Money is cheap. Flying will be a great way to reward yourself for being hunkered down and deprived of the great things flying to places provides. I am extremely bullish on this industry and the time to buy is when the stocks are being sold to a steep discount to their value once we defeat this pandemic. I have NO doubt that day is coming soon.
