"Let's institute a mask mandate nationwide starting immediately, and we will save lives." Look at those words that I highlighted. "When they're outside."
Sorry Quid Pro Joe, but even though I'm a big advocate for wearing masks, I don't think there should be a mandate for wearing masks OUTDOORS. Even here in Santa Clara County, which is relatively paranoid when it comes to COVID-19, I hardly see anyone wearing masks outdoors, except when waiting in line to get into a store.
Plus Biden and Harris opened themselves up to questions like "If you're all for wearing masks outdoors, why did you say nothing about BLM protesters?"
The media, of course, will do their best to protect Biden and Harris from questions like these, but that just underscores the need for Biden to just STFU and be what the Democrats need him to be:
