(Contest YTD is calculated from 1/3/2020 close.)
It’s "comma-la,” like the punctuation mark." But in Trump’s brain she was born an “Obama-la.” Be that as it may, this piece claims Biden's pick of Kamala as his VP is cheered by Wall Street: cnbc.com
Meanwhile, biotechs could not follow through on last week’s rally. At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 8.65% YTD (vs. up 13.13% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 12.68% YTD (vs. up 15.22% YTD a week ago), the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 17.83% YTD (vs. up 22.04% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) was up 22.15% YTD (vs. up 22.06% YTD a week ago).
JBOG’s portfolio, up 130.14% YTD, remained Contest leader, with FILO’s portfolio, up 127.41% YTD, a close second place, while OLIVIER’s’s portfolio, up 62.82% YTD, held on to third place.
At Friday's close, 29 of the 42 Contest portfolios were in the green, with 17 beating the NBI and 15 beating the SPSIBI.
The 197 Contest stock picks have an average YTD gain of 22.92% with the median back in the red at a YTD loss of -1.96%.
Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks for the week ranked by % Gained and % Lost YTD. (Prices not converted to US$ in these Tables.)
Portfolio adjustments: ATNM did 1-30 reverse split.
(All corrections, especially adjustments for splits & mergers, greatly appreciated.)
Enjoy a safe summer weekend biotechies.
Peace & good health,
Bulba
