Lots of people don't realize how cats can form deep bonds with humans - as well as other cats. When the sister of my Himalayan (in the photo in the Thread Header above) had to be put down, he looked for her for a long time and clearly mourned her not being with us - very painful to watch an animal grieve and not be able to explain it to them.
