Moving the goalpost to create the dreaded second wave

MA puts out a daily COVID update. The part I found most useful was one page of graphs which detail the past 30 days. Until recently, they also included the % change since April 15, which was about the peak here



Those numbers showed the crises to be effectively over, so they had to be changed. To create the illusion of a second wave, they now compare to lowest observed value, so the death rate is conveniently up 34%
