Okay, here are two key FACTS that are indisputable, and all the gossip you read online, and all the announcements you see and hear on TV, and all the whispered words among those who pretend they really know, and all the fake polls reported by the fake news are ALL much ado about nothing when compared to these two key facts that cannot be denied or ignored or dismissed...
1) The incumbent has a 3:1 odds in his favor no matter who holds the office at the time... (check the history to verify)
AND
2) Going all the way back to and starting with George Washington, it's the outside who wins that office, not the insider... and if there are two insiders, then the one who is less inside wins... (check the history to verify)
People always elect the outsider to go to Washington to "fix things," not the insider to keep things the same...
