OT Bravo, Max!! Its good to see that not all of SI has their head buried in the sand looking for treasure. I for one couldn't be happier to pay my fair share of taxes for not only education, but for the rest of the infrastructure which the continuing cry for lower taxes threatens to leave out in the cold: a medical care system which ensures the availability of adequate medical care for all citizens (not just the kind that encourages profit making HMO's to minimize care to maximize profit); a solvent social security system; and a government willing to confront the racism that continues to eat away at the heart of our cities. Nice to see a sane political commentary. dhf
