I understand the last previous holdout was Cooper which I believe is now Indian owned. The other “American” companies are owned by Korean, Japanese or other Asian companies including Chinese. But I quit buying Goodyear tires when a salesman all but laughed at me when I said I wanted to buy American made tires from an American company. The Goodyear tires wanted for my Lincoln were made in Chile and when I got home, I checked and the ones on my Explorer were also made in Chile. I put American made but Michelin (French) owned Goodrich on my Lincoln and am quite pleased. Price was right, they wear good and I can’t get over how quiet they are. Put Goodrich on my Explorer when they came due and replaced the factory installed Michelins on my F150 with Goodrich tires. Great ride and very quiet. The heck with Goodyear, especially after reading this leftist corporate policy. Reply
