Analysts don't seem to be making sense here....on the one hand,
they project 1.66 through 9/98, and 2.37 the next year,
while on the other the
recommendations are 1-strong buy;2-buy;3-hold...you have to get the
feeling they don't believe their own recs.

Anyway, I like that they beat estimates this Q and they are on
an accelerating eps/margin track for the last several quarters
(according to SI profile.)

What's their edge over the much larger cos. in their market? Do
they have a special something that keeps cos. like Intel
coming back? I keep reading how good ASM steppers are and how
they are expanding market share despite being more expensive...
sounds a little worrying.
