Charles, you asked me what is going to really happen when FNET IPO's?

First off let me say that I don't look at any percentage numbers that have been given as being cast in concrete. I think that you need to allow for that figure to flucuate and only use it as a guideline.

The IPO'ng of a company is a sophisticated and long drawn out procedure with a lot of twists and turns along the way. Where many companies get into trouble is that they place to much emphasis on a sucessful IPO rather than placing it where it should be, and that's on making the company sucessful. With that said consider this; FNET is a startup Internet Telephony company that has yet to begin connecting up it's network of DVG's. If in the process of establishing itself during the installation process, opportunities presented themselves whereby an infusion of cash would enhance the endgame, would you seize the moment and possibly enhance the company by selling off a bigger piece if you knew it strengthened the end result?

FNET is inventing itself along the way, and rightfully so, afterall it is pioneering an entirely new concept in telecommunications. So to guesstimate what percentage of the company is going to be spun into the IPO and what will be left as a FTEL holding is only to play mental masturbation games and is an exercise in futility.

My guess is that it should be north of 50%, but again my concern is that it is sucessful, that is the key priority.

Hopefully that helps,
rb
