You don't need overt assaults by groups of local resident's.

A couple folks 100 yards off with a good pellet rifle aiming at feet will turn a crowd after a dozen hits.

A suppressed .22 also aimed at the feet will turn a crowd and require hospital visits. And then police intervention is mandatory as all gun shots are required to be reported to local LEO's.

Once these assholes start to see blood loss the adventure takes on a new curiosity as in "if I show up am I going to lose a toe"

It has to start someplace in some way.

The objective is to hurt many of them quickly. The panic will be reversed and the next day will be the turnabout. The terror will be reversed. The hunters become the hunted. And as long as the shooters are not seen, there will be an unknown that will spread rapidly.

I have a .177 pellet rifle that is actually faster than a .22 rifle. It makes almost no sound when it fires. It will do little damage at distance, but will do enough to get the point across.

Happy hunting.
