Robert: I consider myself to be techical but with hearing all these terms vsb,sdtv,divx,dvd and stb scares me. I repaired TV's and stereo equipment in the 70's for a living. I dropped out of the business when VCR's hit the market. If I am scared of this new technology, I can only imagine the laymen are tuning it out. This is because they were incapabable of resetting the digital clock vcr's blinking at 12:00 everytime they lost power. I feel lost and out of touch with the video market. ZE needs to simplify this stuff to the general public. Until that happens I don't think people will be rushing out buying these new components. I did though, finally convince my wife after a couple years that we should buy a new vsr+ machine and sound surround system. Is there any place I could visit to get all this technology in perspective. Does this large flat screen have anything to do with the above terms? If it is associated with HDTV I want one. But ZE would have to go up in the $30's for me to get one. Comments??? Anyone else scared or turned off.
