IT MAY NOT BE, 3M HAS NEW . . .

See IBD March 5, 1996, A9.

1. New 3M Floppy Disk Holds 80 times more than old floppies
2. it can read all the 1.4mb floppies already out there.
3. Compaq is using it on their DeskPro's announced today.
4. LS-120 disks cost $219 (retail) and $19 per disk. It doesn't say disk size- I assume it is 100mb or 120 (logical given number of product).
5. article also says the availability is now!

What a setback to Iomega!

I haven't gotten a zip drive because if I installed it internally I'd have a bunch of 1.4mb disks I couldn't get to use without either adding another drive or transfering the files to new zip disks (what a mess).

Regards,
Jay
