And further, they do not annoy the CB authorities, occasionally compelling them to stockpile even as prices go up but industry does not tank, because whilst gold can be safely ingested, gold is useless. The valuable metals rare earth, Li, Mo, Hf, or Y, and the long list all share one negative feature, that they are useful.
