Hey! I watched this one run up slightly and now its down. I think it will have many runs up and down. If you can make some money along the way and want to take the chance, go for it!
Although I would rather see steady growth, quick swings and fast sustained gains are also ok. I don't know if you can catagorize a stock and say "its not a stock like that". (I've known girls like that)<g>
Anyway there are those in CPQ, INTC, MSFT and others who are playing momentum plays, why not do it with others? However you trade is up to you. You can't play every stock the same. You learn as you go. I have my own plans and ideas on how I'm going to work (play) a stock. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
<Thirdly, nothing any individual says or does alters the ultimate level a stock will rise.> True. There may be a temporary loss. And really, if you know what you are doing, you will profit by it. I have, and I'm just getting started.
I talked to a PR man yesterday from a company I own stock in. He admitted buying and selling stocks in the company he represents. Nothing wrong with it, thats what its all about. If you are long or not. As long as you abide within the rules and laws, you can trade however you want, on whatever you whant and have whatever opinion you want.
I may be long on CPQ while others are shorting it. Know what, we could both make money. Timeing is risky, but look how many are trying it.
