Use of 633 optional reading textbooks for use in courses on "Understanding Chinese Culture" which include China's claim to the Spratly Islands is hardly a surprise.

The texts are not a required or authorized texts in Australian schools, but they present China's view in a comparative culture class.

Australia is a democratic society where opposing views can be presented in schools, not a totalitarian dictatorship like China, Russia the rigid thought police Trump is trying to impose on America. Being a supporter of Trump's dictatorship I'm sure you're shocked alternate viewpoints are allowed in Australian schools.
.

But the Australian government's view of the Spratley Islands is well known.
