I was short AAPL (again) but was given an on-paper lashing early this year. Then was saved by Kung Flu and the huge share price collapse back to my entry price. . I bailed out exactly at the bottom and thank goodness for that. Now AAPL is up 2.5 times to 2xQCOM above $2 trillion.

Apple looks like low hanging fruit for Made in China reprisals for Big Ds attack on Huawei.

I'm happy for both Huawei and Apple to die for their attack on Qualcomm who enabled them to become $trillionaires.

I might go for a third AAPL short . But it seems risky to bet that the MMT $ will do better than the Evil Apple.

In absolute terms, we are living through the biggest thing ever. Of course there have been endless vastly worse things in proportion. But this has potential to be epic and biblical. Imagine humanized H5N1 with 70% mortality instead of the piffling covid19 at 4% mortality or an as-planned nuclear war. Followed by record famine. Nobody would be going on about CO2 emissions and Global Warming, so that would be a silver lining for the remaining people.
