There are many intelligent trump supporters... and that is the weird thing... There are stupid people on both sides. What really distinguishes trump's people is the ease with which they are brainwashed. For example Herman Cain who claimed Covid was a hoax and refused to wear a mask at trump's pathetic rally. He died of course from Covid two weeks later. It used to confuse me how smart people could be convinced of absurdities so easily... even smart people like Ben Carson. But Adam Curtis the genious documentarian finally clued me in... the predisposition to propaganda and brainwashing is genetic. How else would one explain the rise of Adolf Hitler? Ben's not dumb obviously... but there's something wrong with his brain. This statement is the least of the absurd things he believes.
