(1) would say the fellow who made the video is angry, has enough valid points on topics that seems to be riveting the world
(2) observe that other people are also at least as angry on the same topics in all different ways, with varying validity, and thus nailing a society in place so that forward progress seems difficult at the moment
(3) unclear, but always unclear at the get-go, that the anger would go away without some discussions, actions, or at least some very agile political dancing
(4) so, some sort of impasse, that state which is not helpful, tends to fester unless resolved, over and again
Sandia as I understand it, is a government owned organ sandia.gov working on projects to do w/ hush-hush and such, likely not a good place to have group-based anger festering
doubtful that such anger festering would dissipate after conclusion of November.
diversity is supposed to be, and certainly can be a positive, should the state arise naturally, and I do not believe time matters, but at other times might prove toxic
At this juncture there seems a de-Chinese movement on w/i Team USA, especially within academia and research labs of all useful sorts, where careers abruptly end, promotion opportunities vaporise, charges fly, indictments served, trials happen, imprisonment sometimes follow and other times not, and in every case the subjects of such treatment find life and prospect changed. Same same w/ folks not directly harassed, but sport Chinese names.

Would say Navarro, Pompeo, and the Esper's of this planet are being very helpful to Jinping, in whose view MSR is proving a positive vector.
Am uncertain MSR is exactly modern, but undoubted systemic, we skip the issue of racism and can let go at invocation of national security, as scientists & engineers are obviously presumably more consequential than TikTok
