As those who read this post will most likely know, I'm not an American Citizen, I do not live in that great country with its many, many great people who have achieved so much for it over the past several centuries.
That calibre of people who have been more than willing and ready to help others in other parts of the world and to intervene when necessary to overcome bad things happening in those foreign countries.
It really saddens me to see what is happening on America's streets. To see individuals who, apparently, happen to have been born in America BUT who now are willing and prepared to align themselves with Radical Socialist/Marxist inclined movements. Movements and Ideologies that their grandparents and great-grandparents risked their lives, in far flung corners of the globe, to remove and to eradicate.
There must be much "Turning In Graves" by the Founding Fathers, and America's Patriotic Ancestors, when they see those who ALIGN THEMSELVES with the Antifa's (who are, in fact, FASCISTS by nature and action) and the BLM's (who are, in fact, RACISTS, because ALL LIVES MATTER, not just one segment of society) of this world and who now screech Obscenities, who Spit at, who physically Abuse, Torch the properties, Loot and Steal from their fellow American citizens with RECKLESS ABANDON, ENTHUSIASM AND IMPUNITY.
And now we have an Independent, Self-sufficient American Citizen who finally decided that he had seen and had had enough of the DECLINE of his country. He walked away from his business empire, he put himself up for Public Service, and when he was chosen to do so, HE DID IT, AND STILL DOES IT, FOR $1 A YEAR,
Donald Trump may be brash and outspoken at times and does not suffer fools gladly. But he's a man from Queens in New York City. And from what I've been told there are certain "characteristics" about individuals who come from Queens, in the same way, apparently, as there are about those who come from The Bronx, etc....
He may not be everyone's "cup of tea". In fact he may not drink his tea with his little finger raised as one would most likely see done by those who would look down their elegant, reconstructed noses at someone from "Queens".
America, IMHO, should regard itself as extremely fortunate to have someone like him to Lead The Country, and who has the Courage and the Determination to bring his country back to where it should be, both Domestically and Internationally.
To Cut Taxes and put more money into the pockets of Americans for them to do with as they please. After all, no one takes more care of their money than the individuals themselves. Give it to a government and a fair amount of it will inevitably get wasted.
To cut vast amounts of Stifling Regulations and to therefore better ensure that what needs to get done doesn't have to take a decade or more to actually get done.
To make new deals, or to rectify old ones that had put America at a disadvantage.
To be part of a Thriving American Economy that "took off" once he became President, and which saw the Lowest African American and Hispanic UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA during the current 4 year period of his Presidency. Something that his predecessor did not come close to achieving in 8 years.
To reinforce and improve the Military while, at the same time, being very reluctant to enter into new military conflicts or wars with the inevitable loss of American lives. But still informing any potential foes that if they pushed America too far there would be dire consequences.
No doubt there will be those TDS Anti-Trumpers, very probably those "27" on my list, who will spew out their usual misguided, ill-informed, brainwashed Rhetoric and Garbage fed to them by their equally misguided, ill-informed and vindictive Leftist Media.
But I say, "So What". They are not the calibre of American citizenry who would contribute positively to the future prosperity of America. They are the ones who would push and shove their country towards that PROVEN FAILED POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC "SYSTEM" CALLED SOCIALISM ........ It has never, ever worked ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD IN ITS PUREST FORM.
And please, don't point to the Scandinavian countries for your example of workable Socialism ..... Scandinavian countries are CAPITALIST IN WEALTH CREATION, and SOCIALIST IN WEALTH DISTRIBUTION ..... |
