C'mon Jack, you normally get the whole story. Kid was scrubbing graffiti in the afternoon, standing guard to protect businesses from looters in the evening and then, somehow got caught up in the late night melee. Almost executed, he was attempting to escape from the mob. There is zero evidence that Kyle was the instigator at any point in time. We can't apply Canadian or European laws to the U.S. In Canada, Kyle would have been charged with a dozen crimes. But he didn't commit those acts up here. Your example (cop sees a knife on the vehicle floor during a routine traffic stop) is nowhere near equivalent to what occurred in Kenosha. Let's compare apples to apples.
