He made the statement, 'We used to have moderate corruption. Now, we have extreme corruption.'. That's pretty much how I see the US right now. Trump has taken us from the moderate corruption of the before times to the extreme corruption of Trumpistan.

I agree with that. But there are a lot of people who perceive it as a straight line rather than a hockey stick. Either they're not paying attention or they don't see the difference in the distinction.
