I just laugh when I hear him say 100,000 new teachers, 5000 new schools. Why didn't he just say, "sorry our school programs haven't worked, that's why your 10th grade child reads at the 5th grade level, and now we're going to tax you more and spend some of that money on more theachers" ? Why, becaues they believe they're (govm't) is the answer despite all the evidence out there to the contrary! I'm seriously considering home schooling for my kids. And now I see VP Gore, in a rally in ILL. trying to act like he has charisma (after all only 3 years to the next election), excuse me I have to go hurl. Jim
