re puts and calls, in late july through mid Aug, for portfolio insurance purposes, I bought some cheap, way out of the money puts on some of the FAANG stocks in case the 3 gorges dam failed. There are more than 300 million people down stream and 25% of the global supply chain situated there. The puts all expired worthless which I am ok with. If that dam failed it would have been the black swan of all black swans.
