HI Doug, Sadly two of my tomato beds did get a bit of septoria leaf spot after a hard rain. I converted my watering system to drip irrigation and like how it works. vs soaker hose (that do spray up a bit) I've had that before and spray with a fungicide, but I missed the initial spread. Too focussed on tilling and building mulch beds with perennial flowers (wifey's honey do list). I have some nice tomatoes now , but the lower tomatoes are getting too much sun. They get a tough top that must be removed when skinning them. We're sick of making pickles (have done 60 pints) and now are giving them away to anybody who will take them. Jan tried to dehydrate them and it turned out surprisingly crispy and tasty. Now yellow pole beans get picked by the hundreds every other day. I'm a serial needer of Indian Summers. <smile> Thanks for the hopeful message! Bob
