One of our local CVX stores closed and a Dollar Store is there. The community did not want the Dollar store but it's there now.

I will have to take another look at CVS. Went in to get a special type of battery. $4 but had to Buy a pack of 4. Came home and checked AMZN and they were $1.50 and you can get in packs of 2.

I like CVS's concept as a blood testing, screening center and minor emergency office. I now have to go to Kaiser to get my annual blood screens and CVS is closer and available in many other areas where Kaiser is not located. CVS was rumored to have that 15 min Abbot Covad test available. Could be other types of tests (yet to be developed) that a CVS center can do perhaps along w/ Tele-Doctor rooms. The new normal.
