The global initiative is called COVAX. There is no risk of America not getting a vaccine, because COVAX has nothing to do with vaccines already being developed here.

Indeed, on COVAX's own website, they have nine candidates for vaccines:

Three of them are being developed in America, specifically by Inovio, Moderna, and Novavax.

If an engineer like myself can find this out for myself, surely a genuine "doctor" like you would know, too.
