TJ what will happen if a new type of Carington Event of a geomagnetic storm would happen and hitting the earth head on? At the time in 1859, there where no computers internet or electronic trading. Presumably they will close all financial markets ahead of time, but what about open positions? As to the mighty stocks pushing the indexes ever higher did you evaluate their present P/E ratio? After all the 10 year treasury is not yet negative. Just a reminder Cheers Haim
