Behind any rumor is a grain of truth, I think they mean "blue" hydrogen which would be priced below $1.5 per KG containing 140MJ/kg compared to Li Ion batterires that are below 1MJ/kg and much more expensive

Bosh and other Korean and Japanese carmakers bet on hydrogen as the fuel of the future
IMHO they are right,(a lot, I do not have interest to disclose) but the jury is still out
