Sound advice. I have two homes. One is in a suburban area in a small town. So we've been hanging out here during COVID and haven't seen the madness of the rest of the country. People here are pleasant and not overly concerned about national affairs and politics, except to comment on the insanity of the left. So it's been a great place to ride it out. My other home is an apartment in a big city. There has been craziness there and it has impacted my property value. I still like to visit the big city, but I worry that the damage from COVID and BLM and Antifa rioters may cause a permanent shift of people moving to the suburbs and exurbs, which will permanently damage the fun of living in a big city. It's no fun when you worry that at any moment some jerk may crack your head open with a brick just because you are not the right color.

Right now, they are considering defunding the police in the city where my apartment is. If they do that, then I will sell that apartment and take the loss and to hell with them. Strangely, but happily, my suburban home has been steadily rising in value during COVID. Of course, we have conservatives running our town, although they can be a bit softie sometimes, but they don't seriously consider anything that messes with our police. We like our police here, because they are our friends and live in our communities and they are decent human beings doing a hard job, just like police all throughout our country. It breaks my heart to see police abused by these communist a-holes. Whenever I see a police officer, I always smile or nod or say something nice to them in passing, so they know I'm on their side. I imagine they feel alot like our soldiers did when they got back from Vietnam. It is a crime what the BLM a-holes are doing to our police officers. There is no systemic racism in this country or among our police. That is a Communist lie. The BLM organization is trash and violent. Both them and Antifa are domestic terrorist organizations.

Yes, please on the posting of some good books. I'm armed and can defend myself. So can my wife. We're in a safe community, but we're dependent on supply chains for food, but not water. There's a limit to how much I'll take. I've decided I am going to vote in every election at every level from now on and I will always vote against the Communists. We all need to do that. There is no place to run. We make our stand here in the USA or we lose the whole world to Communism.
