Old TV=300,000 Pixels HDTV=2,000,000 Pixels Pixels are the dots that make up the picture. That is over 6 times the resoultion. The figures quoted for HDTV are assuming the 1080 interlaced scan version is being viewed. I don't remember seeing any "lines" when you view the HDTV. Scott
